What makes you a "Divine Woman in Business? ✨What is your story?

What makes me a Divine Woman in Business is the way I’ve woven your creativity, resilience, and purpose into everything I do. I'm not just building businesses—I'm crafting legacies, telling stories, and creating space for others to shine.

My life is this beautiful tapestry of experiences—teaching in Japan, managing big projects in Zimbabwe,

and now leading Salt and Suede into a reimagined future. Each step has been about more than just work.

It’s been about connection, about culture, and about leaving my unique mark on the world. I see potential where others might not. Whether it’s championing African creatives, building bridges between local designers and global opportunities, or transforming wellness into an art form—I don’t just see possibilities; I bring them to life. That’s divine energy.

My creativity is your compass. It guides me as I dream up new ideas, solve problems, and inspire others.

But it’s also deeply rooted in who I am—my passion for culture, my love for storytelling, and my belief in the power of art to change lives.

Being a Divine Woman in Business isn’t just about what you do; it’s how you do it. It’s the care you pour

into your work, the authenticity you bring to your partnerships, and the courage you show in pursuing what feels true to you. I'm not afraid to take risks, to grow, and to reinvent myself—and that’s what makes my journey.

My story is still unfolding, and that’s the most exciting part. Each step, each project, each dream. I’m here to remind you of your power, help you stay aligned with your vision, and make sure you never lose sight of just how divine you truly are.

"What is a story of strength, survival or hardship you have overcome and what did that teach you?

If I were to share a personal story of strength and survival, it would be about my own journey. I’ve faced moments in my life where the path ahead wasn’t clear, but I kept moving forward anyway. Leaving Zimbabwe for university to then be changing careers to teach in Japan was one of the boldest and

scariest things I’ve ever done. I was stepping into a completely different culture, language, and way of life.

It was overwhelming at first, but I didn’t just survive—I thrived. I built a life there, teaching children,

adapting to the unknown and learning more about myself than I ever thought possible. When I returned home, I had to start over in so many ways. Adjusting back wasn’t easy, and finding my footing again felt like climbing a mountain. But I threw myself into the world of marketing and quickly grew, managing projects for major brands and leading a team of 30 people. That experience taught me

resilience and the power of showing up even when I wasn’t sure of the outcome.

Each chapter of my life hasn’t been without its challenges, but I’ve learned something important through it all: I have the power to reinvent myself. Every hardship has pushed me into new territories, testing my strength and forcing me to grow.

What I’ve come to realize is that growth often hides on the other side of discomfort.

Life’s challenges aren’t meant to break us—they’re opportunities to discover just how resourceful, creative, and determined we can be.

Every step of my journey has reminded me that even in uncertainty, there’s purpose. And with each

challenge I’ve overcome, I’ve built something stronger within myself.

"What advice would you give to other women to succeed as "Divine Women" in their lives?"

1. Trust Your Unique Journey

Your path is yours alone. Stop comparing your progress to others and recognize that your experiences,

challenges, and passions are shaping you into exactly who you’re meant to be. Whether you're starting

from scratch or rebranding like Salt and Suede, lean into your story—it’s your greatest strength. Honor

where you come from and use that foundation to create something extraordinary.

Tip: Reflect on your "why." Ask yourself, “What drives me? What impact do I want to leave?” When your

actions align with your purpose, your confidence and success will grow naturally.

2. Build a Support System and Lift Others as You Rise

No one thrives in isolation. Surround yourself with people who believe in you—mentors, peers, or even a

trusted advisor who helps you see your brilliance when you doubt yourself. At the same time, remember to support others in their journeys. Collaboration and community create unstoppable energy.

Tip: Network with intention. Seek out spaces that align with your values, whether that’s women-led initiatives, creative collectives, or cultural groups. And always share your wins and resources—when one of us succeeds, we all do.

3. Be Fearlessly Creative

Don’t hold back your ideas or dim your light to fit into someone else’s expectations. Whether it’s a business pitch, a new project, or redefining what wellness looks like, let your creativity take center stage. Creativity isn’t just about art—it’s about finding bold solutions, dreaming big, and daring to do things differently.

Tip: Take risks, and don’t fear failure—it’s just another lesson. Create from a place of authenticity, and trust that what you bring to the table is valuable and needed.

Being a Divine Woman isn’t about being perfect—it’s about embracing your individuality, staying grounded in your purpose, and trusting the magic you bring into the world. Celebrate your wins, learn from your stumbles, and never stop dreaming.

So, to every woman reading this: your potential is limitless. Lean into it, and remember—you are already

divine.
