What makes you a "Divine Woman in Business? ✨What is your story?
I have had an interest for photography since I picked it up in high school. I found I was good at it when I
would get compliments on my work from people online and from friends of friends and family after posting photos. I love taking photos of people and capturing moments in people’s lives that would otherwise go unnoticed or forgotten. I love what I do and I want to share it with others out in the world.
"What is a story of strength, survival or hardship you have overcome and what did that teach you?
In March of 2021 I was working on my degree for art education when I found out I had Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. I was working on building my small business through the pandemic while getting my degree finished and this made things so much harder. I quickly learned I would need to focus on myself and let everything come when it comes. I learned that if I wanted to succeed in my business and to watch it grow I would need to be around. I got a couple new clients here and there but really focused on myself and building my confidence online with my current clients and using what I had to show what I could do.
Letting my business come to a standstill was a tough but necessary decision for that time because it showed me that I needed to step back and let positivity change my life for the better and then things would start working for my business.
"What advice would you give to other women to succeed as "Divine Women" in their lives?"
1. Success is not an overnight thing. It takes time and work. Sometimes it takes stepping back to succeed.
2. Don’t expect things to always be easy when starting out. It will happen when it happens.
3. If something is really important to you don’t give up on it. Your dreams are worth fighting for.
